IAML Australia would love to hear from you if you are interested in presenting a paper at IAML Conference 2016 – Local History, Local Music on 29 & 30 September at The Ship Inn, Brisbane.
We want to hear from librarians, researchers, musicologists, historians and performers who are working on interesting and innovative projects that fit within the theme of Local History, Local Music.
Suggested topic areas for submissions include (but are not limited to):
- music research and history projects
- music performance projects
- innovative collection development ideas
- evolving use of library collections
- participation in creative initiatives with patrons
- innovative promotion of library collections and services
Think broadly – the only limit is your own experience and imagination!
Speakers are asked to provide a 300 word abstract outlining their paper and a 150 word bio about themselves. All papers should fit a 25 minute presentation and be prepared to answer questions.
Submissions should be made by completing the online form. A member of the committee will notify all speakers of the progress of their submission personally.
